Promotion Rules
- 1. A student has to have a minimum of 75% of attendance in each term. Any absence has to be justified by parents letter and doctor’s certificate. Students who do not satisfy these conditions will not be promoted to STD XII.
- 2. Every student must carry his/her identity card and shall produce the same on demand in the premises of the school.
- 3. Unjustified absence or absence not covered under V (2) in one or more subjects will involve loss of marks in those subjects and there is all posibilities that the final average of the student may be affected and hence promotion hampered.
- 4. Students are strictly prohibited from asking the teachers to communicate to them the marks, which they have obtained in any examination, as the teachers knowledge of them is strictly confidential. Any breach of this rule will be severely dealt with.
- 5. A student who uses unfair means during exams will be given zero and declared failed in that exam. Repetition of the same will result in dismissal. Any student who tampers with marks in the report cards and other school documents including the school diary will be given a zero in the subjects of the concerned exams. Besides, the students will be asked to leave the school.
- 6. Progress card showing the conduct, discipline, application of the student and the result will be given at the end of every test or examination. Parents/ Guardians are expected to pay careful attention to the reports and return them to the class teacher with their signatures.
- 7. The results of the examination shall be final and will not be reconsidered.
- 8. The parent/guardian shall personally come to collect the result. Result will not be handed over to sisters/ brothers/ cousins etc.
- 9. Application for LC should be made in writing according to the proforma at the end of the calendar within a week.
- 10. No leaving certificate will be issued unless all school dues are paid, library books, sports uniforms returned and any damages are made good and applied in the prescribed form.
- 11. Leaving certificates will be issued free of charge in the first instance within two years of leaving of the school. For a duplicate leaving certificate and after a lapse of two years, office charges will be collected.
- 12. Students who wish to leave the school will be issued L.C. before the completion of two weeks after the declaration of the final.
