ADMISSION TO STD XI
Requirements
1) To get admitted to the Higher Secondary, a student has to pass Std X of the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education with proven ability. Students who have completed Secondary Education outside Goa or have obtained certificates from other boards will be admitted only if there is a place and have obtained more than 45% of marks. However, admission will be confirmed after obtaining the final eligibility certificate from Goa Board.
2) All students, at the time of admission, have to come accompanied by their parents who should frequently inquire about the progress of their ward once admitted.
3) All students seeking admission are required to submit the following documents along with their applications.
A) Students passing SSC from Goa Board
i) Original leaving certificate from the school last attended.
ii) Original statement of marks cum passing certificate with one attested copy.
iii) Attested copy of Birth Certificate.
iv) Attested copy of caste certificate if belonging to SC, ST, OBC.
v) Two passport size photographs.
B) Students passing from outside Boards
i) Original statement of marks.
ii) Transfer certificate- original + 2 attested copies.
iii) The TC/LC to be counter signed by the educational authority of the state.
iv) Immigration Certificate.
v) Attested copy of Birth Certificate.
vi) Attested copy of caste certificate if belonging to SC, ST, OBC.
vii) Two passport size photographs.
4) All admissions are valid for a year and therefore must be renewed.
ADMISSION TO STD XII
1) Students coming from the local Higher Seconadry Schools who have passed STD XI examination will have to obtain a leaving certificate and a character certificate from the head of the institution last attended(Original & a xerox copy) [Pertaining to STD X and STD XI Examinations.] Admission is subject to availability of seats.
In addition the student coming from other boards has to apply for final eligibility of Goa Board and pay the necessary fees. The admission of such students will be confirmed only after obtaining the final eligibility certificate.
